There was a time a few years ago when I was really into photography for a little while. All I had was a crappy digital camera and Photoshop. I never produced anything spectacular, I mostly took pictures of sunsets and plants and my cat. I only have a few of the pictures left, and they’re just sitting in a folder on my laptop, so I guess I’ll set them free here.
This is the first one. I took a string of rosary beads I had lying around and draped them over my doornob. I don’t really know what my intent was behind it. I guess I just liked how the beads look when they’re dangling off of something. I usually never have my necklaces or beads lying flat on a surface; if they’re not around my neck they’re usually hanging off of my lamp, or a corner of a desk, or off of some nails I hammered into my bedroom wall just for that purpose. In fact, these rosary beads are dangling off of the corner of my desk in my dorm room.
